Popis sastojaka
- oko 1kg 600 mladih listova borare: budite oprezni, čim ostare, postaju kruti i neugodno žvakati!
- 8 jaja,
- 100 g kozjeg sira (vrsta trupaca),
- 1 velika žlica vrhnja,
- sol,
- papar,
- naribani muškatni oraščić
Vrijeme pripreme: 2 sata
Vrijeme kuhanja: 1 sat 30 minuta
recept
Kuhajte 20 do 30 minuta u kipućoj slanoj vodi.
Umutite jaja, dodajte vrhnje, muškatni oraščić i zdrobljeni sir, pomiješajte s borarom.
savjet

FAQ - 💬
❓ What is borage & how do you grow it?
👉 Borage, or ‘starflower’, is an easy-to-grow herb with edible flowers and leaves. Originally hailing from the Mediterranean, borage is now a mainstay of British gardens, seeding itself and growing freely once established. It looks most at home in a traditional cottage garden, and is fabulous for attracting bees and other pollinators.
❓ How do you know if a borage plant is prickly?
👉 Tip: Watch out for its hairy leaves, which can be prickly; wear gloves when you’re cutting back or pulling borage plants from the garden. Borage comes by its nickname—starflower—honestly, with bright blue or white starburst flowers.
❓ Is borage edible?
👉 1. Borage is an Edible Crop One of the main reasons to grow borage in your garden is as an edible crop. You can eat the leaves, raw or cooked, and the flowers, raw, as a garnish or in drinks. The dried stems can also be used for flavouring, and the seeds yield an oil that is particularly high in gamma-linolenic acid.
❓ Is borage invasive?
👉 Borage is often referred to as invasive because of its rampant self-seeding habit. However, the seedlings are easy to identify and remove so it rarely becomes a major problem. Borage leaves and flowers are edible and have a cucumber flavor. Both are best used fresh and younger leaves tend to be less hairy and more palatable.
